Estimated the current sewer demand based on the current land use. Analyzed the entire sewer system network associated with the pump station no. 10 using the SewerCAD software to identify if the sewer systems downstream the proposed pump station no. 10 have adequate capacity to handle the new demand. Prepared construction plans, obtained construction permits. Based on DERM NAPOT report, Pump Station 10 runtime is more than 12 hours per day, which is more than 10 hours per day and the station is in moratorium. The pump were selected to meet DERM and EPA criteria to release the station from moratorium. This project also includes a design of 2000 LF of DIP Force Main along Perviz Ave. Attended meetings at the City of Opa-locka, DERM, and local jurisdictions during design and construction phase. Prepared preliminary opinion of probable costs (OPC) and prepared bid plans set.
